Hi, i'm new to this forum but not new to aiguns. I am however new to airgun mods. I just bought myself a Crosman NPSS and I was wondering if any of you know any mods I can do to it?

Welcome to the forum.

What is the intent of the (yet unknown) modification?

You can try to chop, and recrown the barrel. This in theory will make the rifle less hold sensitive (perceived accuracy) by decreasing lock time. The recrown will help mechanical accuracy if done correctly, it makes the pellet exit the bore more uniformly and consistently.

I don't know how the NPSS was designed, but it may require a professional tuner to disassemble and properly tune. Other forum members should be able to elaborate more on this rifle.
