ok guys... heres your chance... help me spend some money that i have squirreled away.

i have a little over a grand to spend, and i just cant decide what rifle (or rifles) i want.

i'm open to almost any suggestions (chances are i've looked into it anyway)

my only requirement .... nothing smaller than .22

please explain and justify any of your suggestions.

LET THE OPINIONS FLY!!!!

i'll be placing the order by the end of the week

Look into a .22 cal Evanix s10 blizzard. Those look pretty cool.

Dummy Spend every penny on one gun, don't split it up between two or three guns that you can buy any time.

As for choice treat yourself to a good Eurpean rifle such as an AirArms s510 or Weihrauch HW100, you know it makes sense.

Also, we're assuming it's gonna be a PCP based on your price range. And why go single action when there are some solid semi autos out there now?

yes, i've been mostly considering PCPs, althou, theres a few springers out there that have caught my eye as well.

Roger good point, unless its a springer, i really dont want another single shot rifle, repeater is a must.

i almost sent money to PilkAirGuns again for the Styer, but just couldnt bring myself to spend 2 grand on a single shot rifle, i'm sure its worth it, but.... just not what i want at thing time

If I had money to spend, Beaumont. Mr. Green

But I think Theoben or Daystate would be awesome too. the recent Daystate Huntsman is a real nice shooter and it's nice and compact too:

By the way, Roger, how many Semi-auto's are there on the market? I can only recall that FX to be a real Semi-Auto, those are thirsty for air, and wear down quicker then bolt acitons.

Steyr, those are good. Anyone can shoot with one of those.

You might also wanna take a good look at some higher end Air Arms rifles.

right now, i'm leaning towards the sumantra 2500 with the 500cc reservoir.

just dont know if i want the .22 or .25

i already have a ton of pellets in .22...... but they make some wicked heavy .25 that i'm sure the sumantra could push

i had been thinking about the career infinity, but i cant seem to find anyone in the US that still has em in stock

after making a few calls to PA, and speaking with my usual sales rep, and the tech dept. ..... i'm more confused on what i want!!!

i HAVE decided that i want a .25, or an EXTREMELY powerful .22

needless to say, i didnt place an order today.

i have my Logun, so my "tactical" looking rifle slot is filled, i have my Benji, so my "classic" single shot bolt action slot is filled.....

anyone have any "insider information" on anything new that might be coming out, that is worth waiting for?

I have a feeling the Career Infinity .22 & .25 are no longer made..
Could be wrong about it...
.22 = 45fpe / .25 = 53fpe

If yer want power and a lot of it,,,,
Daystate air ranger .22 ....80fpe
Evanix AR6 .22.....65fpe
Evanix make them in
AR4 .177
AR5 .20
AR6 .22
Never made a AR7 .25 Crying or Very sad

Whatever it is, I would recommend a regulated PCP like the HW100.... I'm sure there must be others....

If I was spending over a grand, I wouldn't want to put up with the velocity variation of a non-regulated PCP.... Rolling Eyes
