i bought a ruger air hawk it cam with a 4x32 scope and i cant get it sighted in the windage is fine but the elevation is off and i cant adjust it any more it shoots about 5-7 inch's high is there anything i can do to fix this? thank you

If you have tried re-mounting the scope, you may have to shim it to line up properly. At what distance are you attempting to shoot?

im trying to sight it in at 10 yards farthest distance would be about 40 yards.Im new to airguns how would i shim it.

For a lot of airguns with a scope.... a 10 yard zero is very close to being zeroed at 25-30 yards as well.... Wink

Your right 10yds is about 30yds zero but if 20yds wanted 10 no good All i meant was decide exactly whats wanted at the start do a job once spot on Ps see u got a ratty im thinking of moding mine up any pointers ie metal breech where from UK gerry
