I recently bought 2 Crosman 1077's off a forum member (great transaction, btw) and after a couple weeks of expermenting, I not impressed. Don't get me wrong, I lke the AGs and they are a blast to shoot. And I have 2 boys, so it works out well. But I guess I was expecting more power at 50'. I have had days where it was 75 and sunny with no wind, and its like I have no control over the pellets. I guess I wa expecting too much! So my next purchace is going to be a single pump gun of some type. I've heard that they are great for accuracy and I can handle putting a pump in. I just want it to be able to break a paintball at 50' instead of just bouncing off it! They are notorious for having poor barrel crowns from the factory (affecting consistency and accuracy)- which you can fix, and you can tune them a bit for more power to get a better range. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." I used to play a lot of paintball and its was always about quanty over quality.
