the crosman nitro npss and benjamin marauder are in my opinion high value rifles. My concern is that the nitro stock has been said to peel like snake skin, and the marauder is expensive for a full kit (at least for me). Would you guys pick one of these two guns or go with somoething else like RWS?

Never had a prob with the Remington Genesis stock...

As with all things you will hear about the few bad ones
but never hear about the 1000s that don't give probs...

The Marauder- when comparing its price vs. features is actually a very good value.

That being said, if it's a budget issue- the RWS/Diana 34 is always a solid choice for starters/all around use.

What he said

i'm blown away by mine. Very Happy

i paid $550 for the rifle and $150 for the scope with rings and $175 for a used tank and yoke. i get me thinks 1200-1500 shots on $6.50 of air.

it likes expensive ammo but is deeeeeeaaaaaad silent. i mean DEAD SILENT. i've been down range (out of harms way). all you hear is the pellet hit. Wink

outstanding balance, size, finish and man, THAT TRIGGER!!!!!!!

i've put more shot's through it in 3 months than most of my burners in 10 years. Mr. Green

i'm waiting for power mod's to hit the market. Twisted Evil
