I know it's not a good choice for competition target shooting but it sure is fun for pop cans, empty shotgun shells and saltine crackers.

I got the sight upgrade installed and spent some time with it today. At 25 feet, I can put two magazines (8 shots each) into a half-dollar sized target. The vast majority of the shots are within the size of a quarter and most clustered into the size of a nickel. I figure that's not bad at all for what it is. The Gamo PT80 I started with couldn't do that at 15 feet.

Hoping to be able to repeat that kind of performance at 10 meters at some point. But I'm not used to open sights anymore. Have done most of my shooting with my scoped Anschutz and scoped Marlin rimfire.

Having bifocals doesn't help with managing the multiple planes of open sights Rolling Eyes

The Beretta 92 is one of the better Umarex pistols, but there is not a lot you can do to improve the accuracy, I have a CP88 which is similar to the Beretta and the accuracy of it can be improved by squeezing the side plates of the top slide together, this will reduce the play in the slide which in turn improves accuracy, but do take care doing this just a little at a time.

I also wear Bi-focals and have no trouble with pistol sights, so it’s probably just takes time to get used to it.

Thanks Al. I used to shoot opens exclusively and was quite proficient with my Williams peep at decent yardage. But that was when I was 16. Nowadways, things are fuzzier.
