I was bored today and tired of shooting at paper targets and cans so i came up with an idea for some fun target shooting. I found a thin piece of wood about 2 ft long and drove 10- 2'' finish nails through it. I then nailed one end of the plank to a log. I bought a bucket of those "cheesy poof" cheese balls and stuck them on the spikes of the nails. Since the balls are bright orange it makes them easy to see when sighting in the shots and since they are baked puffs they tend to explode pretty cool. (and biodegradeable, haha). I was shotting at them with my daisy 1000 .177 and my gamo shadow .22 . Both guns blew cheesy goodness flakes into the air on impact and it was alot of fun. i actually hit the nail itself a few times and it put an awesome "z" shaped bend into it and the impact point was a deep rounded indention from the gama rocket pellets. Im new to the forum so this type of targeting may not be a new thing to you all but i thought i would share it anyway. lots of fun, and cheap to do.

Cheesy poofs. Now thats something I never thought of. I like to shoot paintballs off golf tees. The ones with the orange paint are great. And today I shot a full can of my wife's pop. I liked it, her not so much! Mr. Green

thanks for the welcome! im definately gonna try the paintballs now that you said that. maybe could put a canvas behind them and make some "modern art" haha

That's a great idea. Those little oyster crackers for soup are challenging was well. Lately we've been shooting saltine crackers off a 2x4. I cut a shallow groove with the circular saw lengthwise and then stick crackers in the grove.

I like to shoot playing cards. you get like a 10 of hearts and try to hit all to hearts in 10 shots, bonus points for the two small hearts

I get a kick out of Micro-sniping...

Paintballs, Plastic Army Men, Lizards, bumble bees and so on...

Left over foods are fun too...

Easter Eggs are a favorite....

.24 Cal. airsoft paintballs, toothpicks, aspirins, Smarties, animal crackers, spent shotgun shells. 9mm pistol cases (you try to get the pellet down inside).

Cheesy Poofs still sound good, though.

Hummmm... It might be time to buy a paintball gun too...

This one should be alot better now that I have a HD mini-cam...

its a 'mini dv' camera. about 2 years old. not a pocket sized digital camera. closer size to a video camera but still the modern style. about the diameter of a cd case

Does it have FireWire or USB conection to your computer?
