I think I have come a long way in the last year.... From plinkin around with a 1077 and 1088 to the 22xx HPA/PCP Goodies....
Totaly out grew my 40 yard range in my back yard... But I still have to sight in the big boys now and then... I thought some heavy gauge surplus steel shelving would do for a great back stop... I mean after all it had ply wood in front of it....
Not all of thoes were from Guys Talon... Just about half...
Got any ideas for a better back stop?
Yes... that is a happy face...

I use a bit of 2mm plate on a 45 deg angle.."or there abouts"
So it deflects the pellets down...
Never get a return visit from a pellet..
its a bit quiter than a direct hit...
and yer can catch the lead in a tin or
what ever...

| What if you put a like 12g sheet on top of 1" outdoor plywood? That way it still bends and flexes, but when you shoot with a high powered gun the wood should absorb much of the impact. Another plate on the back just in case... All tilted 45*. |

I usually use trees as my backstop. I shoot into the woods. We (whole family) dumps any used cat litter back there, and there has to be pounds of lead mixed into the cat crap. The trees near there are also riddled with pellets.
At least 200 yards of semi-dense woodlands before the next break in the trees. That should stop just about any pellet/bullet around. |

It would be cool to do a custom car like that. You know, a gangster car with a few bulletholes where the driver is. |

| Hey, if that Hello-Kitty AR15 was free I would take it. The correct term is "Blue State Ready". |
