Recently I picked up 2 Crosman 1077s for 40 bucks, one plane jane one and one with a scope and fiber optic front sight but, they both have what appears to be a small slide almost like a little bolt to rack one in the chamber (obviously its not for that) but its on the action/chamber/breech, not sure what it is and I figured somebody has got to know.

| That tab actually pushes the true barrel forward about 1/8-1/4 of an inch so you can clear out any jams incase a pellet gets stuck in the barrel. |
