I just bought a Quest 1000 and put a scope on it, but I'd still like something I can practice using iron sights with.

The Crosman 2260 looks like a great gun at a good price, so I was wondering how compatible it would be with aftermarket sights...

I have the diopter version (rear), and it's nice and solid. You will need a dovetail arrangement for both the front and rear sights that you listed. That means either a replacement breech (with dovetail) or intermount for the rear, and either an intermount or brake (with dovetail) for the front. Yourdaddyjoe would probably have some good suggestions.

I really like open sights, but the stock plastic ones you mostly see around suck.
