As I stated elsewhere, I'm very much in the market for a vintage Daisy 1894 "Spittin' Image" BB gun. I need this gun for a definite shooter. It doesn't have to perform any better than a Red Ryder but it does need to perform consistently.
The odds of finding one in really good operating condition are pretty slim, the seals would be ancient in even the most well preserved example.
So...
Does anyone know of somebody out there doing rebuilds/repairs on older vintage BB guns?
Anyone?
Anyone?
