I happened upon an Argentinian airgun hunting forum:
http://foro.cazaconaire.com.ar/
They hunt the same and do the same mods as we do, but there were a few interesting points. I offer them to tuck in the back of your minds:

1. They have all the brands that we discuss here, but also a ton of others that we seldom hear mentioned: Menaldi, Super Valiant, Mahely, Tibu, Saurio, Venturini, Argentarmas, Centella, Shark, RI-Brown, Kafema, and Industria Argentina.

2. That last one, Industria Argentina, produces a model called the "Slavia," which is totally unrelated to the Czech Slavias.

3. One thread was about trying to find a cheap copy of Cardew's "The Airgun From Trigger To Target." One guy posted that he had a copy - in Russian.

4. I didn't see a single reference for pink guns.

I hear in The Netherlands they have cerveza powered airguns. Instead of pumping you shake them real good. They're covered in Cardew's "The Airgun From Tap To Target."

Indeed. Beer has a positive effect on semi-long distances. Many Dutch participate in BT and HBT (Beer Target and Hunting Beer Target) matches, with specially customised "tap loaded" rifles.

The shaking, once merely a tradition, gained in popularity when Beer with a high amount of "Luchtbellen" or "Air Bubbles" was used. Shooters often try to start of with a "Aan het zuipen slaan" or "Hitting the Binge", and with a low quantity of bubbles, this would be a painstakingly slow process.
More bubbles ment more power and more power resulted in a higher chance of the much sought for "knock-over".

Beer is tested before used. Referees use a small pump to test the beer that is not much different to the ones that are used when checking the fuel of an Aircraft. The amount of Bubbles is measured in "Bp/mm3" (Bubbles per square millimetre). Some regulations (depending on where the match takes place) allow experimenting with Bp/mm3 or higher alcohol ratings, however success is not guaranteed in these cases.

Shooters have to have considerable skill in shaking the rifles, as there is a safety risk attached. This is called "Schud-vaardigheid" and it's often practised without a loaded gun, or even specially designed dummies, with realistic weight and shape.

Young children train with rifles that are charged with Soda.

The reason you can't find anything about Beer-shootin' is that it's all practised by old people and they don't fancy a lot of attention.

Shooting with beer is different from shooting at beer. I as St. Antonius prohibit shooting at beer.

No, no... no Broom, we don't use the whiskey to shoot... we shoot the whiskey then go shooting.
