I would assume due to the various types of pellet shapes and designs, this one is limited to using round nosed crosman pellets. Personally I like the idea of a repeater. The issue as I mentioned is the various shapes of pellets. I believe a rotating or indexing style "clip" would be a better idea. Several higher end rifles already use this priciple. Such as Styer brand. Then of course is the highly anticipated Marauder also has a rotating clip. If not designed right the rotating clip can be a detriment. A good example would be either the crosman 1088 or the 1077. The plastic bits just don't index well. Often not aligning right. I have a plan drawn up for the second version, I just need some free time in the shop to do it.
