LOL you can`t eat Sparrows and Starlings that`s nasty
But that`s not to say they are not being eaten.
There is a ally cat that eats all my kills.
He comes to my backyard a few times a day.
So far he has took 4 of the birds in the pic today ,he will come back until they are all gone through out the night.
I call it the kitty clean up crew lol
( I just hate when he takes the brds before I have a chance to snap the pictures ) |

Reminds me of when I was a kid. We made a blind near a small willow tree where the blackbirds would flock in the evening. My step-brother and I would take turns shooting. Wasn't unusual to take out 50 birds in an hour (not a typo )
I see this is an older post but if you haven't picked up a bird book, you might want to. Some of those are definitely house finches. They are exotics (like starlings and sparrows) so I believe they can be taken but you might want to be sure. |

I live in Texas in the city Flower Mound and can not seem to find out if I am able to shoot my whisper by law and can not find any thing out about squirrel shooting. These guys are eating on my fence, tree's and worst of all my house! UUUHHG!!! Anyone know what to do here on the laws of protecting your property and if you can fire off a whisper air gun? |

| I seem to remember reading some where that you can't hunt squirrels in Texas as crazy as that sounds. But if its considered a pest its a allowed. Contact who ever issues the hunting licenses in your state and they should be able to tell you whats legal and whats not. |
