i'll have to agree w/ jaxom.
if it's got a metal spring, give it tune. or send it off for 1.
it's cheaper than a new gun, plus it might surprise you once it's done.
i got me beeman at xmas. i tuned it and i'm still just figuring out the perfect hold.
the tune did a world of good.
also some cheap pellets give me 6" groups. while good quality ones the gun likes will do 1/4".
try a bunch. |

| That makes me want to track down the person responsible for taking the gun! I know who she is, I just don't know where she is. |

VERY interesting about holding the gun! I had no idea.\
I fined the best way to hold a springer is NOT to hold it...
Let it rest on yer hands...I don't rap my thumb around the stock of my trigger finger....and the gun just sits in the palm of my front hand..
That way the gun moves the same every shot....

Yes the MKII is a .22 autoloader. |
This is a great misconception to many people who shoot airguns. Tough that it was stolen. Fire arms have a recoil that is much easier to control. Airguns can be much more challenging.
People who start with airguns often shoot better with firearms.
There was a guy on this forum who mounted a Red Dot to his barrel. But with modern airguns, it often shouldn't be a problem. If there is a problem, you just got a monday-morning model.
Get a quality break barrel but if you don't like the idea, go for an under/sidelever.
Gotta agree with Kanyon, allthough some guns aren't hold sensitive at all. |

for me....so far.
if i wrap my fingers around(so far that i touch the compression chamber).
and only touch it,(relaaaaaxed).
i get my best, repeatable groups.
but that's me.
results may vary |

broom is right on! however, if you can master a springer you can shoot ANYTHING!
one reason why i love the challenge of a spring gun. forward hand is always loosey goosey. let the b!tch dance! |

| Then take that same gun and shoot circles around him... maybe then he'll listen. |
