With the Canadian federal government waffling again on the gun registry issue, and apparently is now trying to push it onto the Provinces (i.e. some provinces like Ontario and Quebec will likely screw gunowners, whereas others such as Alberta (MIGHT) not.
Better sign this one too:

Signed.
Anyone know if the >500 fps air rifle regs are enforced in Canada?
I am keeping my rifles at less than 500 for now, but I plan to upgrade them later this year.
An friend thats a cop told me that the crown told them not to charge anyone for not having a registered firearm unless it was used to commit a crime.
Doesn't that render the whole thing kind of useless? |

The 'not charging' someone with an unregistered firearm is different than not having a license.
A "firearm" with no license is different than an "unregistered firearm" if one has a license.
I personally have not heard of anyone being charged in Canada for having a "firearm" that is an airgun with no license, but that's not to say it hasn't happened or that it won't- my crystal ball doesn't work worth a darn... |

| Yea, those working crystal balls are damn hard to come buy. My license is on its way soon. I think its a great idea to take the course and write the exam just to learn handling safety, regardless of powder, air, fps, whatever. |

It's all moot! You can't stop the Corporate Control over it's slaves.
My argument is crooks have no rules so why should I?
Why tell your phony Government your personal info?
You want a gun..get it.
You want controls..don't.
Do you know what "Marshall Law" is?
