| OK, I've exhausted my options for the time being with the .22 caliber barrel, so decided to go back to the .177 barrel again. I made sure to seat the barrel securely, checked the stock screws, fired a few shots without worrying about accuracy, just to settle things down, then went back over all the screws. All were tight this time, even the barrel setscrew. I started out with Daisy Match wadcutters, and they weren't too bad, but I wasn't satisfied. CPHP's came next, and it clustered 5 shots very nicely in the black of a 1/2" bull at 20 yds. I can live with that kind of accuracy, thank you! Can't wait till my assortment of ammo arrives from Pyramyd, they were out of stock on one item and I told them to wait and ship it all together. Am wishing now that I had told them to go ahead and send what they had. Yep, this is getting addictive....... |
