to my knowledge, the most powerful springer is the beeman kodiak/webley patriot at 27 fpe+.
below that would be the walther falcon hunter @ 25fpe.
the rws 350 .22 is around 22fpe.
gamo 1250/extreme .22 i believe is also 22fpe. |

I just sold mine 1250 in .177. After a tune was doing 1015fps with Kodiaks, spring then sagged after 2k shots, went down to 975fps with kodiaks. Gun does 30joules. Out of the box 1250s do 950-1000 with Kodiaks. Very crazy gun - shoots through walls (US)
Most powerful as of now is Hatsan 135, with 120mm piston stroke, it has 30mm compression tube diameter, with working volum of 84.3cm3, Hunter 1250 has 77.9cm3. However over all qaulity wise HW 90, UK Patriot and 1250 would be my choice.
So the list of most powerfull springers looks like this. With first six really close to each other in power
1.Hatsan 135
2.BAM 22/Benjamin Super Streak
3.Webley Patriot
4.Hatsan 125/ Walther Falcon
5.GAMO Hunter 1250 Extreme.
6 HW 90
7.IZH MP 513
8. RWS 350 and 460
9. RWS 48-54 |

I held one of those Hatsan 150's. They're jawbreaking. They're also HUGE.
These guns are often a lot better to shoot in larger calibers. .25 in a lot of these springers is just really good fun, pack more punch then stenguns.
Out of all rifles, the HW90 is the nicest to shoot. Very civilised.
We should consider that Diana rifles can have fluctuating power outputs. Mine does only 16 Fpe in .177... |

my 350, few days old out of the box is also about a 24joule rifle. I will get to work on her, and will post results after.
Out of the box untuned mine is doing 865+- with Kodiaks. That's about 100fps slower then the new 1250. But then again RWS with their 350 just made a larger 34. What they should have done is design something from the ground up like the 1250, or HW90.
That GAMO/BSA 1250 gun could have been great if they only did something about that trigger. I made the one I had fairly smooth shooter. The power was impressing as well as decent accuracy. RWS 350 for sure has a better barrel and is more accurate. |
