i like this gun!!! these are 28.4 grain.
this is 14 pumps. disco shooters will get the same #'s. this shot almost blew a 2x3 inch chunk out of the 3/4" cedar back stop. maximum energy transfer!!
this is 8 pumps.
this is 5 pumps.

low 700's.
it works better with heavier pellets.
3 pumps is 500 fps 14.3. enough for cans/pests.
having the modded one renders the factory model dead.
don't quite remember but 14.3 @14 pumps is mid 800's. |

3 pumps in my Sheridan at 10 yards is exactly the same POI as I have it sighted in for at 35 yards with 15.
Did some quick (and not very scientific) testing with a few large old candles yesterday:
25 pumps: 1 3/16" penetration (I fired off the 25 real quick because of the higher pressure)
15-12: 1 1/16" penetration
11: 31/32"
10: 15/16"
8: 3/4"
5: 5/8"
Proves that you don't need so many pumps for more power. Once you start reaching the limits of the gun it is only blowing excess air out of the barrel making more noise and no more power. |

they are problably engineered to handle twice as many pumps as the max recomended, which would be 16, so 14-15 is likely very doable. I had a friend who had a pump crosman and he always pumped it until he couldt even move the pump handle it has under so much pressure. |

factory pumper seals aren't made for that. the cost of the mod on mine was the cost of the gun. almost $300 total.
you can pump a crosman 760 20 times (did it as a kid). doesn't do anything for power, accuracy or the gun.
the mod tim does is MADE to do this everyday. all the guts are redone.
loud, powerful and accurate it is.
don't be fooled about over pumping a pump gun. it don't mean sh!t.
if tim sells the mod it is legit. |
