didn't get a fill probe wit the new AR6 and
one was going to cost $135nz by the time I
payed for it and shiped it from the US.
So I desided to make a adapter so I
could use the Career probe.
Now just rob a scope of something and
I can use it

Nice job Kanyon!
How much room do you have to do a brake on the end of that puppy and still be able to fill it?
BTW... I picked up the reamer yesterday to do the brakes... SAE 35/64" should do the trick.
My parts did not show up today for the lathe... Blew out low gear again pushing the little guy too hard... So I am just taking it easy for the weekend again... Besides my back is killing me... Unmas cervasa porfavor |

Will be able to get about 75mm over the barrel just won't use the end cover over the fill hole. |

| In your opinoin Kanyon... would it be better for me to use a ball end mill and notch the botom of the brake to be able to take it all the way to the barrel band and still leave room for the fill cap? |

On a AR6 the barrel & air tube are in contact and the end cap is the same size as the air tube the barrel band fits in a recease in the end of the air tube. So for the brake to go right up to the barrel band the whole bottom would need to be milled away in a 32mm dia cord section "air tube & cap are 32mm OD" to get the cap on & off.
I will PM yer the distance the brake can slide over the barrel to still let
the end cap be removed & replaced while the brake is attached.
In this pic the barrel end is inside to about 5mm past the grub/set screw hole

They are a gun that people just over look. If I could only have one air gun it would be the AR6 65fpe and with a bit of work can put out 90fpe with 32gr sam yang pointed pellets. They work the same as yer 1088
crosman pistol cock the hammer or just keep pulling the trigger till the mags empty. It is best to put a lighter trigger spring in them drop them to around 45fpe but the trigger pull becomes very light in repeter mode.
And they are built like a brick sh!t house... There is not any plastic in them ANYWHERE the olny plastic yer get with yer AR6 is the raping in the box. |
