1) Target to download and print: Week 68; Jan19>Jan/25/2009
Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) All targets to be shot standing
5) Any sighting device may be used.
6) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
7) 20 shots total, 1 per target maximum. Up to 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using the green
8) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
9) Scoring is 10 for red and 5 for gray. Only one hit per target counts. Maximum point count is 200.
10) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
11) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries- but all rules must be followed for each.
12) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
13) An honourable contest for sport- to lie or cheat, is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
14) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
15) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others |

Still crappy weather this week so shot this weeks target inside, much to the annoyance of the wife, but lets face it you’ve got to get your priorities right.

but either way i am pleased with my performance and score and I have treated myself to a mars bar
not going to get time this weekend to shoot so i tried to get this one done a.s.a.p when i came home from work. only just managed it befor I lost the light.

Score 120/200. I scored it at 125 first but I can't count the one touch after zooming in on it.
BTW - sorry if I was a pain last week. Wasn't feeling well it turns out that had a small stroke. Damn lucky thing I can still hold a gun. Take care of yourselves - eat well - and stop smoking!!!!! |

You know Bean I stopped smoking 30 years ago and still fancy a cigarette, especially when things are not going well in the workshop.
So take care otherwise we will be struggling for target shooters.

Well, I shot the target, but I won't post it up as I'm not even close to being in the running- 70/200
Took me till the last target group to finally get it going, managed to get 40/50 on that one, the other 30 came from the other 3 groups.
Total time: 11 minutes
Used: Crosman 2240 w/ 10.1" .177 barrel and an NcStar DP130/3 red dot which I have been testing. |
