Just wanted to share what I did this weekend.
I've been wanting some of those cool wooden grips and pumper that I've seen floating around the internet that fit the Crosman 1377. Until I do get them, I'm getting rather bored with the ugly brown plastic.
A little paint and patience really changed the look of the gun. Everything is stock, except the pvc trigger shoe. I used Krylon Fusion which has never let me down on plastic once cured. Hopefully it'll last with all the pumping going on.

That's pretty sharp. Good work.
Where did you get the PVC trigger shoe? |

Thanks!
I made the trigger shoe from a 1/2" pvc slip coupling. Just cut a ring from the coupling at the desired thickness and cut your shoe from the ring. I notched the back out with a dremel and used JB weld to secure it. Of course a lot of sanding was involved to get the right 'feel'. |

I have been thinking about making a batch of shoes out of aluminum. But finding the right set screws has been holding me back.
They do not carry them at the local hardware store. I just have not taken the time to check Fastenel's site...
I put one on my 2250 that was made for a sharidan paint ball gun... the grove had to be modified to fit... Still looks nice... it is nickel plated brass.. |

Not being a great fan of Crosman especially pumpers, I must admit that once in a while a nice Specimen comes along, and yours is a nice one.
Well Done!

| Nice looking pistol, and the trigger shoe is impressive. Can the PVC coupling be bought at most any hardware store? |

Yep, you should be able to find them pretty easily. |

Not my kind of color, but I like the idea. Anything looks better then the stock grips. |

Here is the shoe I am still working on for my Sniper rifle... Thanks Salvia, I had a bag of 100 4-40's delivered last week for the production shoes.

| Very nice, Yourdaddyjoe. It looks like you did a little whittling down on the very tip of the original trigger blade. |
