I bought the winchester 1000 SB about a year back and in it came a scope and i used it and at first it was accurate.. Then my accuracy was horrible. I grouped like 5 inches at 30 yards. I thought it was the gun. Then i put it on my benjamin 392 and had the same groups. I noticed the crosshairs are weird and ill draw a picture of that. Can someone tell me for sure that its the scope and i also need to know about a cheap reliable scope i can get also. Mainly for 30 max 40 yard shots.)
(BTW, My picture is exaggerated on the part that is messed up. Its hard to see in real life.

| Hate to say this but that scope is trashed. Is it a springer or pneumatic, or CO2? If its a springer be prepared to drop some serious coinage for one that will hold up. If it's the other 2 walmart sells a powerline scope for about 30 bucks. I've got one on a PCP and it works pretty good. |

| its a pneumatic(pump) and i am quite relieved its the scope and not my gun. I am prolly gonna get that powerline scope so thanks for the info |
