There are a couple of versions of the 1377, but here's the basic diagram:

http://www.crosman.com/pdf/manuals/crosman/1377/C1377-EVP-1&2.pdf

If you've lost compression, it is likely the pump cup that needs replacing (part # 760-140) which costs about $2.00 from Crosman. You can also try lubricating it and see if this (temporarily) fixes the problem, but if it's ripped you're beat.

And, Welcome to AirGunHome.com

Most of the time it is very simple. Carefully pull the airgun apart, get the diagram from the crosman site. Broken o-rings reveal themselves instantly. Other seals can be more complicated, but the design is simple. As Eric says, it's most likely the piston cup. Get opportunity to get a FTP.

DerekVinyard - is it possible that you meant "flat-topped piston" and underlined it for emphasis? (So it looks like a link.)

Strange, I didn't underline it... Perhaps I bumped some keys and did, who knows. Big hands, small laptop.

FTP. means "File Transfer Protocol" to a computer, and it often thinks it's a link (especially with a period after it).... Rolling Eyes .... put spaces between (F T P) and it won't try and outguess you.... Cool

You can type FTP just not with a period immediately after/attached to it!

FTP vs. FTP. !
