i have a line on a used Air Arms S410 TDR Classic at a VERY reasonable price. as this rifle is manufactured to the 12 fpe restriction, i was wondering... can it be de-restricted? as that will be the determining factor deciding to buy it or not.
this addiction is gettin crazy..... no sooner do i unpack one rifle... and the wheels start turnin and i am planning on a new one. |

12 Fpe is for a lot of shots, but if you must, you can always put a FAC spring in it. They're shouldn't be to hard to get.
It really depends on what you want to use it for, and in which caliber it is. If it's a .22, I'd go for 14-16 Fpe. That means it's affordable and still good up to 50 yards. It's a rifle that's ment for things like rat hunting and such. |

The older AA guns were adjustable on the regulator but for the last year or so they are tamperproof, which doesn’t mean they they cannot be adjusted, it's just difficult from what I gather.

The TDR (take down rifle) is pretty cool. I would snag
that in a heartbeat. The power can always be upped. |

I still am not sure though, are the models that use a bolt-handle configuration still being made? And are those the models that could be tampered with, in opposition to the newer models that use a bolt-sidelever configuration? |

Both the 400/410 are all still made and are tamper proof unless they are FAC rated, also I think the same applies to the 510.

Ah, I see that it's optional on their website. I should've looked there in the first place.
I hear the sidelever is quite smooth. |
