Anyone know where to get colored, laminated blanks for grip making or where to get colored veneers to laminate your own blanks?

Thanks for the link! I checked out the other link you spoke of. Do you know anyone that makes pistol blanks?

No, not off hand... you might check out one of the grip makers on airgunartisans.com

What pistol do you need the blanks for and what is your wood preference?

It will be for my 46m. I dont really have a preference of wood, as long as its something that will hold up. I just want something a little more extravagant looking to match the build of this pistol.

Sorry, I'm not setup to run for the IZH-46m. Nice pistol though! Not sure how many people are running grips for them, there must be some.

Steve Corcoran cuts some great target grips for IZH, perhaps you can contact him to get some blanks cut? Email him, he's usually quick to reply.

I'm sure you could make your own with 1/8" sheets of light ply and some RIT clothing dye. I would use epoxy and a large flat surface and a board with a bunch o weight on it to glue the sheets together.

The dye should only soak in enough to stain the top layer of wood, so you can still get a bit of wood color in there, along with another color of your choice. You could also mix and match.
