I dont really have a preference of wood, as long as its something that will hold up. Member Joined: 25 Oct 2008 Posts: 43 Location: Raleigh, NC (Also at my pc) The dye should only soak in enough to stain the top layer of wood, so you can still get a bit of wood color in there, along with another color of your choice.
