Specs: Bought upgrades: RJ Machine (left handed) breech, RB 2240 grips, TrueGlow sites, Dave Welker barrell band/pumparm, and a 1760 barrell. Parts I made: pump handle, bolt, cocking knob, endcap, muzzlebreak, frontsite(modified bow site), flat piston. The new endcap has a deeper hole in it to lighten the stock spring tension for a softer trigger pull. Stock parts mofidied: angled valve, flattened valve face, polished trigger/sear/hammer,removed the safety, cut 1760 barrell to 13" and recrowned. Are those tubes an unpolished brass (I'm no metallurgy expert)? The red filament on the front sight- the wrap-around- is that for more light pickup to ease you aiming, or more a cosmetic thing? And lastly- how does that brake work? Purely cosmetic and as a handle? Seems like alot of holes. How did you countersink them in that elliptical pattern? _________________ ` I'd say "I care." I have actually remove most of the brass. It is mostly stainless steel. The eliptical holes are formed from drilling a round surface. I'm not quite done with it yet, I have some trigger goodies coming. Totaly stock 1377 with a BSA Laser Sight and Benjamin scope mounts . I've been shooting Crosman premier Pointed Pellets and can consistantly hit objects or bullseyes the size of a nickle at 10 yards . I only have about $ 110.00 in the whole thing and i think dollar for dollar it's a great buy ......Crosman i believe now owns Sheridan so they already have the scope mounts ...I say they should put a laser on it and sell it that way , it'd be great combo .....love mine ! I have one as well, they have great mod potential and decent accuracy. That is a nice setup you have there.
