I used ordinary 3/8" dovetail mounts, which are a little small but have worked just fine for years. This is my scope block, carved from a scope ring (Walmart clearance, of course). (The block is in front of the scope ring, but that's O.K. because they're bolted together with two 4-40 screws.)
