went outside an hour early to wait for the rats to come up from the ditch. figured my wife's 7 o'clock rule doesnt apply now that i have a quiet gun. while watching the fence line, out of the corner of my eye, i see this bushytail about 25 yards away, near the base of a big oak tree, just pokin his head around the truck watchin me. i twist in my chair, chamber a pellet, squeeze the trigger. nailed him right below the ear. i swear the pellet impact was 100x louder than the gun!!

broom, i think i like the name you gave this rifle.... Mr. Green

Flippin' nice man! Confirmed kill for you straight out of the gates! .

I recon that Logun makes short work of those tree rats. What kind of pellet did you hit him with?

got this guy at 65 yards, sitting on a knot on a tree trunk about 15 feet up. perfect profile shot. aimed 2 mil dots high, heard the loud "pop" of the pellet hitting, saw him hop and 3 feet off that knot and onto the ground. by the time i walked over, he was flat dead. shot entered left side, just below arm, exited opposite side. when i cleaned it, both lungs and heart were pierced.

Did it hit him below the ear or below the arm? You said both.

Oh, it was a different tree rat. How many you got left around there? Another nice hit though--right in the vitals. I miss tree rat killin'. Have to settle for the winged variety for now.

the trees are crawling with em!!! i'm gonna miss being able to hunt on my own property. STL kinda frowns on that. i'm normally not home at this time during the week, but i closed up the shop in prep for the move... and... well theres a new gun in the house.... so..... see if i cant fill my neighbors freezer before we move. Yeah, I'm fixing to move soon too. And I know when I move I won't be able to hunt there. So I'm trying to get in what I can now while I still am able to.

Say Roger, If you don't have time hunting, where do those airguns go? Mr. Green

It's a shame really. They just sit under my bed and in my closet. I still plan on going out to the wilderness to hunt with them on occassion, and in the distant future I may have a place to use them at on a regular basis. But aside from that, they are waisting away.

A crying shame, it is.

Maybe you should join a club or something. You'll be able to work on your skills, at least.

I'd be happy to relief you of some if it wasn't such a huge amount of trouble to go trough. Neutral

I could join that scam for that co2 pistol target shooting club, jk.

I was going to sell some of my ag's or give one to a friend. Mainly just because I can't use all of them anyways and they take up space. But if I have to hang on to them then I have no problem doing that.

I guess part of the fun is caressing them. It's the worst with my Diana. I just stare at her a bit...
