I'm looking to get some funds for a 2240 or 2250 with some work done on it, and have two fairly old guns that are in half decent condition. Anyone that knows about the values of these guns please, post.

Daisy model 99, champion. 4.5mm lever action (red ryder style). Stock is about 75%, spring appears to be worn from repeated use. I have the rear sight somewhere, front post is missing from the globe. The barrel screws out and is then packed with bbs in a undertube, then screwed back in. I have estimated it's age to be about 55-45 years old.

Sheridan Silver Streak, 5mm, multistroke pnuematic. Stock is about 90%, works great, seems powerful (using 4.5mm pellets because I'm too cheap to buy some .20's to test), had to grind an edge onto the trigger sear to make it hold. Safety works, front and rear sight in excellent condition. I HAVE THE BOX IT CAME WITH. Estimated age is atleast 20. It DOES have the old style safety, with S and F on each side, opperated with thumb.

Yeah, and to go further on the Daisy, the spring is fairly worn because it will only shoot a BB 5 feet before it drops like a lead balloon.

The guns do both work properly. I am offering a friend the Silver for $150 without the box.

According to the Blue Book of airguns, there were two varieties of Silver Streak, but either one has a listed "value" of $65-200 depending on condition. The box would bring the value up.

The Daisy Model 99 Champion maxes out at $100.00 with particularly beat up units being pretty much worthless otherwise. If the stock is not great and the spring is beat, figure it might be worth $40-50 if you can find a buyer.

Thanks, I figure my 99 is worth about $50 and the silver is still up for debate.
