broomaster- which parts leak and why, in your opinion? I have noticed that the fins in the cylinders are one place where there will always be leaks, where else?

I guess the only downside is that its just a 1077.

1077's are best suited for plinking...

They can be allot of fun when you have mutipule targets to shoot... Like little army men...


They are not suited for hunting...

Yeah, hours. Then the seals give away and you get help from this forum, and the circle is round. Mr. Green

That's IF it breaks down though. I think they randomly do that. I know some guys who have one and it's still pretty fine after two years.

Why do you say this Anton? I don't know the 1077 is prone to leaking (I've owned/own 3) and never had random leaks or breakdowns I couldn't immediately attribute to mishandling. Don't get me wrong, seems 50% need the barrel crown re-done for any accuracy- but I've never heard complaints on the items you mention.
