So, Ive designed a .375 caliber repeater based off a crosman 2240. It would be a 6 shot, smoothbore that shot preceision ground steel balls. Im really debating building a batch(10-25) of them if there is enough of a demand. Im thinking I can get 400ft/sec which isnt a screamer but with a .375 chunk of steel have some knock down power. Think something like this would get any interest?

Why a .375 caliber? Seems a bit obscure.

.375 precision ground steel balls are easy to obtain and cheap, they pack the weight(55grain) needed to really hammer a critter, and more eco friendly than lead.

edit: this is where I got the idea, just took it further.

I'd like a .177 repeating breech better, to be honest. Neutral

I have one of those designed too, just didnt think there would be much interest cause my design only permits the use of lead balls, but has a 20rd capacity.

Hm, maybe you should talk to Al a bit, maybe he'll come up with a nice solution for pellets. Check out his pellet dispenser. Exclamation
