How do you like that Discovery? I was thinking of picking one up for
my 10 year old. She wants a PCP now. |

so far i like it alot. its more accurate than i am. have only had it a a few weeks, and i honestly dont shot it much, MAYBE once a week and then only for a couple 5 shot strings. i recently ordered the CO2 adapter and the degasser tool, so maybe i'll start shooting it more cause i've stated in other threads... i'm a lazy bastard and hate using the hand pump |

I usually pump as it's 112 miles round trip for me
to get HPA. 180 strokes from empty to full with the
Condor. But it's so worth it! |

CW,
Buy a scuba tank and a fill station, if you have an industrial gas co. closer, You can get it refilled there..
As soon as I buy a tank and regulator... I am going to rent a tank and I am lucky to have both a scuba shop and Harris Indrustrial Gas in town... |

| ya know, with the abundance of scuba shops in this area, maybe i should look into grabbing a used tank before we move. i know of only one scuba shop in STL that will fill a tank, but would imagine that IF they had used tanks, they would be at a premium. LOL great... now i get to explain yet another purchase to the wife LOL |

Racer... Check Craigslist.org in your area... I bet you can pick a tank up there cheap.
If you don't find one... place a "Wanted" ad... |

Joe, I already have 100 CF 3300 PSI SCUBA, but a fill station
is out of the budget right now. |

That damn B... word has kept me from going HPA... or a springer for that matter...
It's getting too cold for Co2...
I just sent a batch of AG parts to be anodized... I am hoping for a Christmas rush...
Then maybe Santa will be good to me... |

| Run the serial numbers of any tank you are looking at through Google or the like. Many/most aluminum-alloy tanks are apparently bad news. I gather their have been other tanks (i.e. steel and fiber) with "recalls" on them, but sometimes diveshops don't notice if the hydrotest stamp is valid when they're filling them. |

well i purchased a used HOT PINK scuba tank off ebay. should be here next week. called around the local dive shops.... and only found ONE that would fill a tank without presenting a scuba license. called to the shop in STL... they will fill it, but i have to sign a waiver stating its not for scuba use.
..... now i just have to convince the wife that a Logun S16 is a moving expense LOL |

Tell her that your new place has a big, greasy rat problem
and after researching it have found out that it would be one
quarter the price of an exterminator. Tell her that it is better
than poison in that it is more specific in what it gets rid of.
Whereas poison kills anything unfortunate enough to happen
upon it. |
