1) Target to download and print: Week 63; Nov/24>Nov/30/2008
Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at targets, 2 per "line box" maximum. 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using "center dot".
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring: 10 point "black", 3 point "red", no points white. Only two hits per "line box" counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Please scan or photograph entries and post. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries, but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) An honorable contest for sport - to lie or cheat is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others.

no problem, I found that change in orientation forced me to fix/adjust my sights rather than compensate for them. Your stars made me go look for my version that I hadn't shot in weeks. Your version is a little different, I might try it tonight if the wife doesn't come yeel at me for the noise in the garage (which is below the bedroom  )
edit-> 2 sight in shoot and got shut down... Tomorrow!! |

Nice target this week so I thought I would go all out and use my Rohm pistol, I warmed up the Co2 with an hair drier and shooting from the conservatory which is always warm in the winter when the sun is out.
Well things started off alright until I ran out of Bisley practice pellets on the third target, so I had to change over to Hobbies but still pleased with the score.

I would have called the second target down a 20, it appears to be a hole on hole, so call it 125/200
Nice third target down.

The hole you see is the one I questioned. The paper was still attached from the other shot and got folded back in place on the scanner, You can see the mark from the pellet between the lines just above and left of the hole. The hole was iffy but I'll take it... 
I'm happy with either considering the gun I'm using. Might be getting a 2300S for myself (and one for my Dad) from xmass. We'll see if consistency increases.... |
