The planet is now believed to have been cooling for the last 10 years by the same "chicken littles" that thought it was warming last year! There has been ice ACCUMULATION on 3 out of 5 major glaciers this year! The latest is we're possibly going into a new ice-age. Some have even sighted (I kid you not, as they say) the drop in green house gases as causing globel cooling....I'm tired. Just live clean and don't be wasteful, what more do we need? Do you know how much trouble it is for me to recycle now? Or what it costs to buy glass bottles and then either get them back for reuse or recycle? I probably spill more exhaust driving to a recycling place now and do more damage tha way than simply dumping the glass and aluminum into a land fill. It's all crazy. It lasted through the 1800s and makes a facinating study. There had been a long warm period, wines from England, ceral crops abundant throughout Europe, then....burrrrr. During the Revelution the reports of iced rivers ect. that we don't see icing over now and such show it was still going on. There have been environmental effects of course. Apparently in 1816 (also called 1800 and froze to death) there was the "year without a summer" apparently caused by the eruptions of Mt. Tambora. It disrupted summer in Europe and America, causing "greta hardship". Hope we can avoid the thousands of inchs of ice that have been seen...... Or of course the global warming that will cook us all.... Or the killer astroid that is destined to wipe out the earth.... Or the giant volcanic eruption that could envelpoe the entire center of the US..... Or the flood global warming could cause that will drown us all....
