Don't think I can afford the high pressure/capacity carbon fiber. How many fills can I get from an 80 cu ft 3000 psi scuba tank? Other options (other than a pump)? I think they might be about 30Ci's. That is about 4600 total fills, maybe 1000 of them (maybe fewer) full power. My concern is that if the air rifle needs 3,000 psi and the tank is only filled to 3,000 psi then I won't get many full charges at all.   Posted: Mon Nov 17, 2008 5:14 pm j.m. Member Joined: 25 Oct 2008 Posts: 43 Location: Raleigh, NC (Also at my pc) 200 BAR is actually about 2900 psi, so you might get a few fills up to the gun's full pressure. I don't know if the AA410 uses a reg, but if it does, then you don't need to fill the gun to 200 BAR to get full powered shots. Otherwise, you may need to get a 4500 psi steel tank. I would go with something like this: http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?product_id=X780 Check your local dive shop. They may have some used tanks that you could buy off them. Explain to them what you are using it for, and they may be able to help you. If the shop isn't too far away, then you may want to consider getting a smaller tank. I believe that there are DOT restrictions as to the max pressure of compressed air cylinders that can be transported by people without a special license.
