Hi again, the answer on the full auot thing is pretty much no. Even the true semi-auto guns use part of the co2 to feed the bolt, but it doesn't feed the bellets. So, you could get the c02 to flow i suppose, but you'd still need to replace the trigger action to move the rounds into place.

I bought a couple of 1077s new at K-Mart for a little over $60 and a new one is listee for $65 at Pyramyd, so you might look around before you put a lot more money into the used one. Just fyi.

AR15 is not fully automatic. It is illegal to convert it to fully automatic. Without the $200 transfer fee and associated paperwork from the BATF, it is illegal in the USA to own, sell, or transfer a machine gun of any kind.

With the correct fees and paperwork from the BATF, you can buy and sell machine guns. This is a huge topic but I just wanted to point in the direction of the right information.

that was my understanding of the question. semi-auto is legal, full auto isn't, without liscencing.

I looked a bit, but couldn't find an answer to this question: How are fully automatic air guns (like the Drozd) regulated? I don't believe the feds put airguns in the same category as PB's, but some states do. Anyone know?

Interesting question- but I would have to assume ("assume" means "don't take this to court" in this instance) that because the feds don't classify airguns as "firearms" proper, an automatic BB gun (i.e. the Drozd) is, for lack of better terminology, not an "automatic" anything- i.e. a "non-firearm" or about equivalent to the guy with the rubber band auto-fire thingamajig a little while back. However, some states (i.e. New York for example) who have certain prohibitions on airguns, might view this differently. I suspect police/legislators in alot of places are investigating items like the Drozd even as we speak- and I'm not saying this purely because a police officer came to me looking for parts for a Drozd awhile back in order to put it through some sort of testing... Wink
