Anyone familiar with the Hatsan line of rifles/pistols?
Any particularly good models? Bad models?
Just came across a couple and was wondering they are worthwhile? |

Their high end models are kickin' a punch, but they're not noteworthy as particularly good rifles. Finish is a bit like chinese rifles. They also suffer from the FPS disease allthough they're known to be quite powerfull but breaking in with these rifles means "breaking" in.
That's what I learned from a lot of reviews, and unsatisfied customers who got themselves a Gamo afterwards. |

| I've got a Falcon and I believe it's built by hatsun. So far it's a good rifle, I like it. I bought it just before the gas ram was offered from the factory. |

| It could be that with their lower end rifles, they don't put much time into quality control, but going up the line tehy might get better. |

Eric:
The Walther "Camo" model is a Hatsan. Also, the Hatsan Torpedo 155 is an interesting underlever.
Check out Hatsan Arms Company and yes it is a Turkish manufacturer.

| I know where to find them- but have no experience using any of their products, so I'm looking for some opinions- both on function and cosmetics. |

Hi..Two of my mates have Hatsans a mod 70 & mod 85 both 1000fps 1.77 they are the same gun just the 85 has a nicer stock they are both 2years old and are great guns about the same quitly as a gamo.
The 1250fps mod 125 & 1350fps mod 135 are spring eaters they say the 135 is good for 1500 to 2000 shots before you notice a drop in fps.
If I can fined a mod 85 at a good price it will be mine. |

Bad choice. It's not a rifle for leisure shooting. You'll need to spend a couple of $ 100 before it's working well. Overall quality isn't that good with these either.

Good starting PCP's are the AirArms S200/CZ 200, Dominator 1250, and the Benjamin Discovery. The latest one would be a go if you're in the US because it's really affordable. |

| My Hatsan .22 CR60 is built solid, it has a good finish to it and it is easy to work on. |
