Never owned a Sheridan but those who do tend to swear by them. I can't help you for lack of Sheridan knowledge but, there are a lot of very knowledgeable airgunners on this AirGunHome forum. Suggest you be patient and hang around until some of the Sheridan guys check in with some good info for you.

While you are waiting, check page #2 on this Rifles heading for a thread on the Benjamin 392 and read the July 31 post by BBgunbob. He gives some tips you might find helpful.
Checking pages even further back may render even more nuggets.

Regards,

Amigo

And then it exploded! Mr. Green

You know what would be cool? A PCP with on board pump, for multi shot shooting. What if Crosman(Benjamin-Sheridan, whatever) would make a pumper with a regulator. Should be achieveable. That way you always bring your pump.

Twisted Evil sounds like a good idea to me would take a fair bit of pumping but you can already get pumps like the hill pump and the slim jim for the brocock guns which is small enough just so happens i got one maybe will look into this idea.

Pumpers are generally modified through the valve (changing the flow profile, smoothing things out) and/or installing a flat-top pump piston if one is not already in the rifle. I don't have a Benjamin pumper to pull apart to check the piston- but this would be the place to look for reducing the number of pumps for each shot.

A PCP with integral pump would weigh 20+ pounds.

Besides that- wouldn't a PCP "with a pump" just be a multi-stroke pneumatic anyways? Albeit one with higher pressures in it- but nonetheless, an MSP more than a PCP.
