The Crosman 1077 will be good to a range up to 15 meters, and that would be MUCH for the gun.

It's also not Semi-automatic. It's a double action system. The Trigger is used to cock and reload. This system also makes the trigger having a bit of a heavy pull.

The Rohm twinmaster is Semi-automatic, if I recall well.

Well, the big problem there is that the Rohm twinmaster is around $800, the 1077 is around $70. The Crosman Night Stalker is semi auto, though the one I had, had a lousy trigger. The Bereatta CX4 is around $250 to $330 depending on how many bells and whistles you get. Both those use part of the CO2 to auto cock the gun.

On the other hand, unless you intend to do some tight targeting, the double action isn't that bad. To each their own. I wish the Rohm guns were, more affordable, I have looked at them before, but haven't decided to spend the money.

I've heard from several people they're not really that great, unless you're an Airgunsmith.

Man, they need to do something about that $ 70 - $ 800 dollar gap.

I think, though, that Cain would be better of with a springer.

Thanks; broommaster, I didn't want a springer, I was wanting something that is DA, DAO, or semi auto.

Hey Cain,

I have a total of three 1077's

I have one extra 1077 that I just went through, 6x24 compact scope, 4" muzzle brake, stabilizer & Re-crowned.... It's only had about 500 rounds through it...

PM me if you are interested...
