1) Target to download and print: Week 57; Oct/13>Oct/19/2008

Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at targets, 1 per "intersection" maximum. 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using "circle".
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring is 10 points for "intersection", 3 points for "blackline", and no points for white. Only one hit per "intersection" counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Please scan or photograph entries and post. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries- but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) An honorable contest for sport - to lie or cheat is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others.

I had to buy a new printer this week, I've had two HPs and each time the power supply has blown up after about 16 months, and the power supplies are $60.00 each. HP are crap!. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
So I have bought a cheap Lexmark to see how it goes, can't be any worse. Neutral

Rant over back to the target shooting.

Date 14-10-2008
Sunny
gun Rohm Twinmaster .177
Sight Walther Red Dot
Pellet Bisley Practice ,177
Time Taken 15 minutes
5 Meters standing, two handed

Score 135/200 Cool

Again a nice target J

Al

I didn't shoot this target because it is too hard to try to sight in
on a target like that with a peep sight.

Just wondering, could I put a "paster" over the intersections so
I can see it through the sights?

Hi oatring welcome to AirGunHome target shooting.

Some of the targets are difficult depending on the kind of sights you are using, I’m afraid you can’t alter the target to see it better it’s against the rules, the thing is if it is to difficult to shoot give it a miss that week.

This weeks target (No 58)is easy to sight with a peep sight, in fact I use one occasionally and don’t have any problem at 10m with my Winchester.

Give it a try Thumb Up!

Al
