Hello,
I,m thinking of getting my first co2 rifle just a cheap toy for a bit
of target shooting in the back yard.
I,m looking at a 1077 or 1760 other than ones single shot and other muiti shot I don;t know to much about them.
Any advice would be great.

The 1760 is, generally, far more accurate than the 1077. That single-shot bit can be a bit of a pain, but the 1077 really is more of a quick-shooting plinker than anything serious to use for target shooting. Don't get me wrong- the 1077 can usually be improved a bit, Crosman seems to have some serious quality control issues with the crown on its barrel tubes in respect to the 1077. Heck, I own one- and have yet to get to my bulk-feed project for it.

I notice in your signature you have a B11 listed. This gun is generally not sold in North America (at least not anymore). There is a Canadian importer who has a gun called a "Canadian Hunter D18B"- which, based on the pictures I have found of the B11- appears to be the same gun. Is there any way you can post up some close-up/detailed pictures of your B11 .22cal for people to see (well, maybe just me...)?

Hi Pics no prob.
In fact I have 10 of these things 8 in 1.77 and 2 in .22
and 4 B2/sterling 1.77
I happen to walk in the door of a gun shop at the time they
were having a clean out of there reject guns.
I made a offer of $150.00 and walked out with 14 guns.
Most had broken plastic triggers and 3 would not cock
I just scaned the plastic trigger and laser cut new ones from
stainless steel.
New what the hell do I do with them?

Sell them to your neighbors!

Maybe make more stainless steel triggers for people with other BAM/IB/SMK guns?

But yes, if you could post detailed close-ups of a B11 (preferably the .22 version) that would be fantastic!

I've got a couple of 1077s and a 1077W (discontinued). It's a fun little rifle, double action, but pretty accurate. the cool thing also is you can do so much with it cosmeticly as well as mechicly. I don;t no of a ggod way to mod up the power, but it's a great little backyard gun if that's what you're looking for. You know, for breaking cosecutive discs, or making cans dance, that kind of thing.

Just for reference on the 1077- about the maximum power that can be derived from one is around 700fps- and you waste a ton of Co2 at that point. For anyone wanting to get a 1077 in the 800fps range- a longer barrel is required, or a custom valve that can blow out a TON of Co2, the majority of which will be wasted (at 700fps liquid Co2 (mist) will come out the barrel behind the pellet- and out around the pellet magazine area too.

They do, however, prove that I was wrong- the "Canadian Hunter D18" is NOT a B11 with a different name- it is a totally different gun.

I have heard/been told that the B11 is a copy of the Winchester X
They do look alike from the pics I have seen.
