I am in the market for a new Pistol for tactical style target practice.
Requirements…
• 8-12 Shoot “Lead” Pellet
• .177 or .22 Cal.
• 12gram Co2 Powered or Pre-charge.
• At least 400+ fps.
• Weaver rail under the muzzle.
The Crosman 357w is already ruled out… I prefer semi-auto frame. |

Hey- you wanted a gun, right? Knock out the Crosman 357's and all the BB guns out there- and what are you left with for multi-shot repeater pistols? |

This is a Twinmaster "Action" Co2 Modded
about 400 fps can be modded to 550 fps very accurate.

Hey there,, I would recommend getting yourself a Daisy 617x(or a 622x, that is, If you can still find one,They've been dis-continued for a couple yrs now, but you can still find them around,If you look hard enough ), I'm lucky enough to have both. The 617x is .177, and has a rotary mag, and it fire's bb's as well as pellet's, or a combo of both, Muzzle velocity is great(mine fire's 7.9 Remington point's at 475fps, and bb's at 560fps), it has fixed "Tru-Glo" sight's, and it's very accurate, it can handle a wide range of pellet's, I really like using Remington point's, and either Gamo Rocket's, or Daisy L/F field point's(both weigh in @ 5.2gr, m/v goes up by 150fps w/ accuracy to match ).
The 622X is a .22 Co2 pistol that look's exactly like the 617X, but that's where the similarity end's. This gun is more powerful than a stock 2240, and you can easily go hunting with this shooter, when I use 9gr. Prometheus round's my m/v goes from 450fps w/ Hobbies to 630fps ,LOL, and just like the 617X it's very accurate). The one, and only drawback that I've found with these gun's is the lack of any type of "rail" for mounting optic's, but there is a "Universal" type of laser sight that attaches to the trigger guard available if need be. Anyway's I hope my biased suggestion help's you out in any way. Cheer's, Andy. |

Got to have the weaver rail for red dot sight. I already have the bracket & red dot.
It's a must for tactical shooting... |

Well I pulled the triger and bought a Crosman 1088... right out of the box it needed a mod... My NcStar mount would not fit due to the break barrel loading mechinisim... So I added a rail for the red dot right on top.
The most important part is what you can not see inside, I reinforced the plastic with some steal. It is also the most dificult part... This damn thing has way too many springs...
I have not had much time to shoot... You guys got me busy making Muzzle Breaks & 1077 Hand Guards... I almost sold out this weekend. I only have 4 brakes left on eBay as of this morning. I sold out of the Hand Guards, but I have one that is almost ready.
Well off on a metal run...
Happy Shooting
Joe |

| The 617x is still currently in production, and get's great reveiw's everywhere I've seen, The 622x went out of production a few yrs ago, I'm not too sure why it was discontinued, but I heard it was just too powerful, and as far as it's reveiw's go, Everyone that I've read has given it two thumbs up, and I've enjoyed both of mine immensly since I've bought them,,and the 622x has power to spare,,9gr,. Prometheus round's come screaming out the barrel at over 600fps, and accuracy to match, Cheer's, Andy. |

I read the only two reveiws I could find. I was interested after hearing what you had to say about these 6XX Daisys. But both reviews said the airguns were very prone to misfire and not cycle propperly, and flop open when fired sometimes. Sounded like a pain in the butt to me so I opted out. Only saying what I read now. No flame throwing. |

I guess I should have PMed 2rCHA. Hes the one that was touting the Daisy 6XXs. Sooner or later I will learn how to respond correctly on these forums. And not accidentally highjack threads also. You are the 1088 fan. |
