Thanks fellas, Now I get to go to bed with a knawing feeling in my stomach. While saying to myself, There is absolutly no hope of a good and pure tomorrow. Only brutal bloodshed and misery with the sound of the battle cry in the background for the next days onslaught. Sleep tight guys Razz

Thank God I'm a christian. Mr. Green Not a model one, but hey, can't be everything you want to be.

Anyway, I find it pretty funny how the US government tries to stay politically correct, and hardly seems to look at the re-arming of the former Soviet Union. They got their nuclear bombers hanging over Europe again, and probably over North America too. Mr. Green All to protect against "terrorism".

I also think that a lot of Media isn't really sensored, but just to much aimed at view figures (I forgot what the word was, which is annoying and is one of the few things that cause me the blues) causing it to be dull and shallow.

You're all right. People are flawed, and therefore there is no "hope of a good and pure tomorrow." But it's the journey and not the destination that's important, and "living honorably and honestly" is how the quest is to be conducted.

Still, it takes courage. When the founding fathers pledged their "sacred honor," they were promising to continue despite obstacles and detours. That's why I enjoy their wording, because through it they send us their passion (and courage) across 230 years.

I agree and am willing. I just get a bit overwhelmed with the state of the Union sometimes. I guess it's time to start toughening up. Right now I am just not emotionally tough enough to deal with this "end of the world" sh#*t 24-7 . This too shall pass.

Was it Vince Lombardi that said "when the going gets tough, the tough go shooting"? Something like that - I lived in Green Bay for six years, but that was a long time ago.

You have always been an inspiration of some sort Slavia. Like that Tesla song from the eighties, I will hang tough when the goin gets rough. It just takes me a second to kick in gear. I'm a slow learner. Just hope I can make it count if it cost me my life. BTW I am the same faith as you. So one way or the other we can't loose. We have somewhere to go Very Happy

This is the philosophy that will get us all killed. Mr. Green

You gotta worry sometimes, or the fun of happyness won't have much kick to it.

And.

Acceptance is the key to wisdom.

I shot trough my hand with an Airgun, and it would be wise to go to a doctor.

Don't worry be happy was a joke just for the reasons you stated. I hope the pellet you shot your hand with wasn't .22 and soft. When I use cheap easy to get Daisy .22 wad cutters they are real soft. If I shoot them out of my Talon it would put a 25-35 caliber hole through my hand after expansion. Beleive you me man, It's damn time to go to a Doctor at that rate. Hope you are alright !

Actually it won't get us killed I'm afraid, it's more likely we'll just look around one day, while not worrying and being happy, and realize we're wearing chains. (Literal and figurative)

Do you ever wonder what lists you may be on? I do, I suspect that no matter what the law actually says, if someone actually wants to know what books you've read, or what movies, you've seen or maybe....what your hobbies are, all they need do is access the banks of the nations computers.
