in anticipation of my new triggers arrival.
i want to remove the trigger pack from my G1 for polishing.
i have never done this before.
it looks straight forward, is there anything i should know so as not to end up in a jam? |

| The G1 Extreme is another B18/Quest/Phantom-derived gun. As such, to remove the entire trigger pack and replace it properly, you may be forced to remove the main spring from the gun as well- it's a pretty tight fit. You may not need to, but be prepared for it just in case. Other than that, it's pretty straightforward on how it's done once you look at it. |

| A couple things to remember on reassembly of the trigger; 1) the sear pin has a little 'tit' on the end of it- this has to be positioned on top of the crosspiece in the tube, not below or the gun won't stay cocked and 2) when putting the trigger block back and tightening the hold-down bolt, make sure the trigger block is pushed as far forward as possible and the bolt is tight holding it down, otherwise the trigger block can move backwards, putting that 'tit' on the sear pin below the crosspiece and not allowing the gun to cock. |
