Well I mentioned I bought myself a FWB 300S while in Ohio last saterday.I finally quit playing outside long enough to get a couple of pictures of it.
So here it goes.I'll be doing the stock real soon,a complete refinish. The damn match stickers it had on it left there mark real good.It looks like there is some beautiful Walnut under that 29 year old finish.
Chrony's at 635 + or - 5 about every shot using Gamo Match Wadcutters

God I love this gun!!! Never shot anything so accurate and smooth

I know, and (this doesn't apply to you, for as far as I know )I think that any moron can do good with one of those guns. Imagine what they do in the hands of a well trained air-marksman. They still win FT-contests with tuned FWB's. |

that some guy's are installing a Jim Maccari Merlin spring and getting 750--775fps out of them and using them for field target matches.
As for mine I will leave it alone,it does not seem to matter what I stick in her as far as pellet selection goes it just keeps hittihg its mark! If I want a hard hitter to hunt withI can always grab the RWS .22 48,the custom .20 Quest I built or my new Gamo .22 Stutzen.
