1) Target to download and print: Week 30; Mar/31>Apr/06/2008

Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at targets, 2 per gold line.
5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using green line.
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring is 10 points for the gold, 3 points for black and no points for white.
Only two hits per line counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries- but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) This is an honorable contest for sport- if you lie or cheat, you are the only one who really loses. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others.

Pellets Bisley Pratice .177 Wadcutter

Crosman 2240/89 with 2-7x20mm scope
10 meters indoors
standing offhand
Crosman pellet wadcutter .22
Time 14 minutes
The score is 121 (correction from the picture)
After looking again the lower left target one pellet is in the ten
and the other is clearly touching the black on the orginal paper.

I missed out on last week and am almost late this week. Steyr LP1, RWS pellets, iron sights, one hand, 5 meters, 8 minutes. Score: 145/200.
I have always noticed the note about 23:00 GMT but never stopped to calculate what time that was in my time zone. It is 5:00 pm in the Mountain time zone. I am suprised that I have not been late before.

I would participate, but my scanner doesn't want
me to.
I will try photographing my results next time.

Would there be anyone out there that would be
interested in a 50 or maybe 100 yards or further
contest?

Benched and/not benched?

Hi sailrecovery welcome to the site, another guy had the same problem as you reguarding posting, Have a look at:

http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=1214

This should tell you how to post a picture of your target, to get your target of the week go to the first post in this forum click on the target to enlarge it then print it out, shoot it at the distance required then scan or photograph it and post it back on this forum, this weeks target is number 30 so you need to use number 31 which 23ib0d0n will post tomorrow.

I hope that helps.

Al

Rained 5 days this week . . . five . . . Evil or Very Mad

Looks like Woody61 and the Styer edges out Rene {under500fps} and the Crosman.

Cooperation from the weather could happen this week, so we'll see . . . Rolling Eyes
