How many shots before a power spring should be replaced on a springer air gun? |

It depends on the quality of the spring and the airgun, a good quality airgun shooting around 12 flb can easily shoot 20,000 to 30,000 pellets before needing a change, a cheap airgun around 10,000 to 15,000.
All this depends a lot on the calibre of the gun and the power, cheaper guns tend to run near the maximum for the setup quality guns tend to have a bit in reserve. The above figures are only an estimate and can very on the same make of gun.
A good guide line is that airgun companies that shout about the output of their products are running at there limit, not good if you want the spring to last a fair while. |

Im sure the spring should be replaced if it has a nasty near 90 bend it in when it is outside the compression tube... right?
I have a E3650 Ultra Spring and Tarantula 32 coil on order at the moment. |
