I bought this almost 30 years ago and it is getting tired. I just put a new
pump piston seal in it and shot a bunch of weblube through it and it
has pretty good power now but the accuracy is mediocre at best as my
nephew put almost nothing but BBs through it for over 7 years and the
rifling is faint and looks as though a pallpean hammer had been at it.

Any advice, tips, pointers in the airgun world on putting a steel breech
(technically a receiver) and longer barrel on the 1377?

I was thinking of installing a second barrel set screw and free floating the
barrel. Maybe even seeing if it will push a slight choke with advantage.

I would really appreciate any input, dos and don'ts or general opinions,
especially from an experienced individual.

It is an old phase 1 or 2 or whatever a 1985 is, so I expect that I might
have some drilling and tapping from what I have heard.

Went right on without a hitch. It will fit ANY 1377/22.
I wonder why Crosman states that it will not work on
some 1377/22s?
