It finally happened, my Benjamin pump isnt working anymore. Unlike most people how they say the pump gets stuck in a position and is unable to move up or down, I think I'm having leakage issues. I havent used it in a few months and when I started pumping it, I felt the pressure build up as always, and then the hose all of the sudden popped off the feeding nipple of the gun. I figured I didnt connect it properly and gave it another go... and i can hear the air hissing and the gun wont fill.

Anybody have a guess what broke? And also, could this be fixed?

Exactly where is the hissing/leak coming from? The fill nipple, top or base of the pump, or the base of the line? Could just be a seal that needs to be changed. Almost seal issues relating to PCP's are fixable at a relatively low cost, & some DIY elbow grease

You mean the QD nipple on the rifle and the female QD on the hose? Sounds like the female QD on the hose has issues- not the pump per se.

You can get just the hoses at Pyramyd Air or somewhere.

Bump

Old topic, but I still havent fixed the issue. So I'm looking at new hoses at Pyramyd and have no idea which one will fit the benjamin pump. Any insights?

Also, I'm assuming the new hose would simply screw in?

If the leaking part/s are threaded then I would try some plumber's
style Teflon tape.

The leak is indeed coming from the threaded part. On the photo below, its coming from in between the two hex nuts. I tried to unscrew it off with all my might but the thing wont budge!

I just call them toll free on my pump stuff. They always got mine right when I tell them what I'm hooking to what.

I finally got the female port off with the help of some buddies and got it back on with teflon tape. Turns out the leak is coming from the female port itself.

Pyramid has em for $20, so needless to say i'm happy I dont need to spend $100+ on a new pump. Thanks guys!
